This seminar is presented by Chris Counihan, Director of the newly-formed Division of Paid Leave at the Delaware Department of Labor. In May 2022, Delaware Paid Leave was signed into law for businesses with 10 or more employees. Delaware paid leave is a bundle of separate lines of coverage which includes parental leave, medical leave, family caregiver leave, and qualified exigency. This seminar will provide CPAs and their clients with an introduction to this newly-enacted law and what employers need to do to comply. As parts of this law go into effect this Fall, you and your clients need to prepare now.

Members are encouraged to invite their clients to attend.

Participants may submit questions to dana@dscpa.org prior to the presentation to ensure that their questions get addressed.
